Where is Old Road, Antigua?
Antigua, along with its sister island, Barbuda, is located in the Eastern Caribbean Sea between Puerto Rico and Guadeloupe. They are at the southern end of the Leeward Islands chain. This small Caribbean Island is 108 sq miles and has a beach for every day of the year. Amazing delicacies enhance the palette physically and our Gospel Mission Work intends to enhance the palette spiritually. At present, Antigua has three congregations. Two are located in the city of St. John’s and the other in the village of Liberta. In the summer of 2025, we intend to add a congregation in the Southern area of the Island, in a village called Old Road.
Old Road is located in the southwestern portion of Antigua and is overlooked by the Shekerley Mountains. The village is located on Andy Roberts Drive. It contains a sports complex, Morris Bay Beach, and Carlisle Bay Beach with a population of 1,251 as of the 2011 census.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering in our Gospel Mission Work provides a unique opportunity to impact lives in Old Road which is also known as Old Town, Antigua. Whether you want to help with community outreach, assist with events, or share your skills, we welcome you. Our programs are designed to engage volunteers in meaningful ways, fostering connections within the community. We value every contribution, big or small. Volunteering is done locally within the community. Additionally, volunteering is organized through mission trips and donations. If you are interested in a mission trip, please send us an email and request information. Full details will be sent to you including accommodation information. If you’re unable to travel, please support by giving. Each donor will receive a 2025 Prayer calendar filled with prayer verses and quotes.
